Heavy snowfall expected Thursday in eastern Quebec is forcing the closure of several schools.
The establishments of the Côte-du-Sud (Chaudière-Appalaches) and Kamouraska–Rivière-du-Loup school service centers are therefore closed, as is the Collège Sainte-Anne-de-La-Pocatière, in La Pocatière.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for these areas, with total accumulations of 15 to 25 centimeters expected. Gusty winds and blowing snow are also forecast.
