DUO with GORGONZOLA
A duo that combines the flavor of corn with that of cheese, for a very simple and tasty recipe! To be served as a dish with a nice salad.
*The gorgonzola can be replaced by a very creamy blue-veined cheese.
**For the cornmeal to be cooked to perfection, during cooking, 9 bubbles must successively form before being burst by your wooden spoon.
***Drop the spinach? Throw them all at once into the white-hot saucepan, the heat will surprise them and melt them!
Per person :
2 tbsp cornmeal
1 tbsp gorgonzola *
20 spinach leaves, washed, stemmed and minced
½ tsp fresh cream
Salt and pepper.
Butter to grease the dish
Put the semolina in a saucepan with salt (little) and pepper + water to the height + 2 height of water and cook**. To book. Heat a saucepan and “drop***” the spinach into it, stir, cover and cook for 5 minutes, salt (a little) and pepper, drain and set aside. On a plate, mash the cheese.
Grease an ovenproof dish, spread the semolina, spread 2/3 of the cheese on top, then spread the spinach. Mix the remaining 1/3 of the cheese with the fresh cream and pour this mixture over the spinach. Put in the oven without preheating and cook for 20 min Th 7 (210°). Serve hot, warm, or cold.
Nice kitchen to all, Régine
