The many fans of the late series District 31 can rejoice. Its author, Luc Dionne, is working on a new fiction. Named Dumasit will feature the man who brought Commander Chiasson to life, Gildor Roy.
This time the actor will slip into the shoes of Jean Dumas, founder of one of the most important investigation firms in the country. Jason Roy-Léveillé, Isabel Richer, Vincent Leclerc, Marie-Lyne Joncas, David Bélizaire, Jade Charbonneau, Lili Francke-Robitaille and Catherine-Anne Toupin will play the main characters.
On Wednesday, the actors gathered at the Maison de Radio-Canada to announce this new series at a press conference.
Directed by Stéphan Beaudoin and produced by Fabienne Larouche and Michel Trudeau, Dumas will consist of 24 episodes of 60 minutes. It will be broadcast in fall 2024 on ICI Télé.
