Dua Lipa in Montreal, chapter 1

Dua Lipa was at the Bell Center on Monday night as part of her tour Future Nostalgia. For some fans, this may just have been the first chance to see the British singer in the metropolis this week, as she will be in Osheaga on Sunday.

The 26-year-old British singer-songwriter was supposed to perform in Montreal last February, but her visit to the city as part of her tour Future Nostalgia has been postponed due to the pandemic.

On the strength of her second album, Future Nostalgiafor which she won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album, Dua Lipa filled the Bell Center with the sounds of disco and 1980s pop.

It is of course surrounded by dancers that Dua Lipa began the show, the first part of which was provided by Caroline Polachek and Lolo Zouai.

However, a single concert is not enough to satisfy Quebec fans of the dance-pop offered by the interpreter of Levitating : she will be in Osheaga on Sunday.
