During these searches, the sleuths had notably seized various quantities of drugs, thousands of methamphetamine tablets, approximately $200,000 in cash, about fifteen cases of contraband alcohol and firearms.

Lebrasseur and the other individuals arrested are suspected of having been part of a network of drug traffickers which operated in the Sorel-Tracy sector and which would not have hesitated to use violence and intimidation to control the sale of drugs in the area and smuggling alcohol.
