A dozen searches took place in Terrebonne, Lavaltrie and Saint-Sulpice in residences, warehouses, businesses and vehicles during this operation carried out by the ERM Rive-Nord, specifies the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) by press release. Investigators seized tens of thousands of dollars in Canadian currency, cocaine, cannabis, methamphetamine, GHB, prescription drugs, contraband cigarettes and an air gun.

Three men aged 37, 45 and 58 and a 36-year-old woman were arrested. The three men are scheduled to appear Wednesday afternoon at the Saint-Jérôme courthouse in connection with possession of substances for the purpose of trafficking, drug trafficking, conspiracy, participation in the activities of a criminal organization and laundering of the proceeds of crime. .

These searches stem from an investigation initiated in January 2022 and mobilize more than thirty police officers from different units.

“The purpose of the operation is to search for additional evidence related to individuals suspected of drug trafficking. The items that will be seized today could help demonstrate the involvement of one or more people in drug trafficking activities in different sectors. The investigation related to these searches is continuing, ”explains the SQ.
