On Saturday August 27, the drought had unexpected consequences on the Danube river, which notably crosses Serbia. The receding water reveals warships nazis sank during World War II.
After the footprints of dinosaurs in the United States, the drought has other very unexpected consequences. In Serbia, in the Balkans, Nazi warships that sank in 1944 are now visible. The impressive size of these boats makes them very imposing. A fisherman revels in the spectacle and closely observes these remains. In total, about twenty boats were revealed. The extremely low level of the Danube allowed this discovery.
Although these boats belonged to them, it was the Germans themselves who had taken the initiative to sink them. The objective was to prevent the Soviets from taking it. “We could have seen some wrecks after the war because Serbia had started extracting these boats”Explain Velimir Mike Trailovic. The problem with this sudden reappearance of these ships is that they were never secured even though they contain ammunition. It is therefore difficult to make journeys on the Danube.
