Discreet, fast and increasingly efficient, the drones held in the hands of criminals are worrying the French authorities, as stated in a confidential note from the Minister of the Interior obtained by France Télévisions. Drone flights over prisons are increasing: 68 in 2022, compared to around 40 in 2019. The fear of the prison administration is that one day these drones will be used to deliver weapons, or explosives“, explains Frédéric Ploquin, great reporter and author of the book “French narcos break the omerta“.
