Dreams of becoming a lawyer | Kim Kardashian Passes Law Exam

(Los Angeles) Reality star Kim Kardashian has passed a law exam in California after three unsuccessful attempts, the first step towards her dream of one day becoming a lawyer, she announced Monday.

The billionaire has long made it known that she wanted to register with the bar.

“I took the baby bar exam,” she wrote on Twitter, referring to the first-year law exam required in California for applicants who do not have a college degree.

Kim Kardashian, 41, attended Pierce College in Los Angeles, but did not graduate.

“Know that it was not easy for me. I failed this exam three times in two years, but each time I held on and studied even more, ”continues the star.

She points out, however, that she was suffering from COVID-19 during her third failure and that she had a high fever.

According to the California Bar, the first-year exam includes four essays and a 100-question multiple-choice quiz on contracts and criminal law.

Statistics show that only 20-25% of applicants pass this exam.

“Great lawyers told me that it was practically impossible, and much more difficult than to do a traditional law school”, adds Kim Kardashian, assuring that “it was (his) only option”.

The star has more than once committed to a reform of the American judicial system, sometimes asking for clemency for some convicts. She had notably met on this subject former President Donald Trump at the White House in 2019.

She’s not the first in the Kardashian clan to touch law. Her late father, Robert Kardashian, was part of the team of lawyers who managed to secure the acquittal of OJ Simpson on charges of double murder.

“My father would be so proud […] I was told he was known to laugh at people who didn’t pass their exam on the first try like him, but he would have been my biggest supporter! She writes.

The star is in the midst of divorce proceedings from artist Kanye West.

According to American media, she asked a court to be declared “officially single” and to be able to remove the name of her husband from his marital status.
