Drakkar, the series shot in Ardèche to conquer YouTube

It is said that in the 9th century the Vikings went up the Rhône, arriving from Camargue to Valence then going up the Isère to Romans (860) before being stopped by Count Girart de Roussillon whose legend joins that of Roland, nephew of Charlemagne.

Around 877, the Vikings plundered the Rhone Valley, Valence and its region, from this historical episode, the historical reconstruction enthusiast Guy Reymond made a web-series visible for free on the Youtube platform: Drakkar la serie

Guy Reymond does not seem to be joking when he says that this adventure can lead them to the steps of the Cannes film festival, he’s right, you have to be conquerors like those proud Vikings who are regularly joined by new volunteers, including a few actors or technicians who come to share their experience. And the result is stunning, the Ardèche sets are sumptuous, the costumes accomplished, over the episodes the acting is more solid and the Albenassien Beretta brought his technical background and an artistic approach that makes everything credible and almost professional, it’s up to you to judge and encourage them on YouTube.

The sixth episode will be available at the end of April beginning of May 2022
