Dozens of people were struck simultaneously by heart attacks in a street of Seoul, according to the firefighters, while the capital of South Korea celebrated Halloween, Saturday October 29. We do not know for the moment the context of these cardiac arrests and if some of the victims died.
A fire department spokesman says 140 ambulances have been dispatched to the scene, and footage shows many victims receiving heart massage on the sidewalk of a street in the Itaewon district.
According to the South Korean news agency Yonhap (link in English), the firefighters administered cardiac massage to around fifty people, and the emergency services received at least 81 calls from people reporting breathing difficulties.
