32 nations involved, 32 matches broadcast. France Télévisions formalized, Tuesday June 27, its calendar for the 2023 World Cup (to download in PDF), which will be held from July 20 to August 20 in Australia and New Zealand. The group stage will begin on July 20. Meetings will take place every day until August 3, including a clash between France and Brazil (July 29, 12 p.m.) or a remake of the final of the previous edition between the United States, reigning world champions, and the Netherlands, finalists for the first time in their history in 2019 (July 27, 3 a.m.).
The knockout phase, meanwhile, will begin on August 5. Half of the eighth to the final will be broadcast on the antennas of France Télévisions. The possible quarter-final of the players of Hervé Renard will be broadcast on the public service (August 12), before dreaming, perhaps, of a historic final of the Bleues in the enclosure of 83,500 seats at Stadium Australia (Sydney). A final which will be, regardless of the poster, broadcast on France Télévisions.
