Double occupation eyes France

Double occupation could land in France. No, we are not talking here about Céline, Lara, Sami and the other candidates from OD Andalusia, who will walk the red carpet marking the start of the new season this Sunday, on the airwaves of Noovo. We are rather referring to the concept of the show which is the subject of an agreement to be adapted in France.

Productions J announced this Friday that an agreement had just been signed with the French group Mediawan Prod to adapt the popular Quebec reality show in France. However, no broadcaster has been announced at this time.

“On our screens for almost two decades, this format has become a real social phenomenon by addressing all audiences in an innovative way,” underlines Julie Snyder, president of Productions J, in a press release.

“At Mediawan Prod, we seek to tell the story of the era in a demanding, creative and, of course, daring way. Double occupation is precisely a format that fits in this line and we are very enthusiastic to soon be able to adapt it with Frederic Joly (general manager of 909 Productions)”, affirms for her part Justine Planchon, president of Mediawan Prod, in the same document .

This announcement comes asDouble occupation had a rough season marked by bullying last year. Some candidates were expelled from the adventure.
