Double murder in Saint-Michel | Two men in their thirties shot dead

A shooting in the Saint-Michel area killed two men on the night of Thursday to Friday. The motive for this double murder is currently unknown.




Police officers from the Montreal Police Service (SPVM) were notified of gunshots on Friday around 1:50 a.m. They located two people on the scene with gunshot wounds at the intersection of Highway 25e avenue, near Robert boulevard, near René-Goupil park.

The two men, aged 33 and 34, were taken to hospital in critical condition, where they later succumbed to their injuries. According to our sources, they are Guy Love Jolicœur and Peter Dave Alisme.

These are the 19e and 20e homicides to occur in SPVM territory this year.

The investigation is ongoing and forensic technicians are currently analyzing the scene.
