Dorion feels responsible for the Senators’ woes

Ottawa Senators general manager Pierre Dorion made a surprise media appearance on Saturday morning at the Canadian Tire Center, accepting much of the blame for his club’s disastrous start to the season.

“I’m not going to lie to anyone here, I’ve had a few sleepless nights. I didn’t like this streak from our team, but it’s not due to lack of effort. Players are hard at work, but sometimes players don’t play to their full potential, and they know it, he said, with his briefing available on TSN.ca. I am the ultimate responsible and I am not afraid to say so. We did not expect that, but we will continue to fight. Last year, after a bad streak, we continued to work and we finished strong. There are still 60 games left, the work ethic is there, the desire to win too and we will continue to move forward. “
