On May 12, 1991, Dorine Bourneton is the only survivor of a plane crash in a forest in the Massif Central. TO 16 years old, she becomes paraplegic. Very quickly, his goal is to become an airplane pilot of aerobatics.

Dorine Bourneton, 47, has been paraplegic since the age of 16 after a plane crash. She does not fly for her pleasure, but offers baptisms of aerobatics. It is no longer me who is handicapped when we are up there, it is my passenger. If I didn’t have this bubble that makes me forget my disability, I think I would experience it in a much more painful way“, she confides at the microphone of France 2.

Everything changed 30 years ago when a plane crashed in the Massif Central. She is the only survivor. Dorine Bourneton wants to free itself from weightlessness on dry land as it does in the air. This is why she is participating in the project of an exoskeleton. We really have the feeling of rediscovering our humanity and our dignity. Usually we are always in a position of inferiority“, she explains.
