“Julien Bournival-Vaugeois falsely declared facts or distorted them,” we can read in a decision recently rendered to the Régie du logement du Québec (RBQ).

The contractor (left) also allegedly lied to an investigator from the Régie du logement du Québec for this matter.

Mr. Bournival-Vaugeois, 35, is the head of Global Services Résidentiels inc. His company trains peddlers selling heat pumps and heating systems. The entrepreneur claims, among other things, to be able to improve the energy efficiency of residences with its products.

The influencer, who boosts his popularity by exposing his luxurious cars and his life in Florida on social networks, was however called to order by the RBQ.

“The Régie criticizes Global that following the cancellation of its license [le 18 décembre 2023]she continued to suggest on the Internet and in social media that she holds a construction contractor’s license,” the document reveals.

In the video below, the Quebecer explains to his subscribers on Instagram “why people don’t like […] not those who make money”:

Is he lying to the investigator?

The Régie du logement du Québec finally decided to punish Global Services Résidentiels inc. for three weeks. after the company renewed its construction license. The latter will be suspended from April 1 to 21, 2024.

The authorities also blamed the thirty-year-old for having acted as a nominee within his company, whose head office is in Quebec. However, “he does not participate actively and continuously since he resides full-time in Florida”.

Finally, Julien Bournival-Vaugeois allegedly falsely declared facts to the investigator in this case. The Quebecer certified that he was only at the head of the companies Global Services Résidentiels inc. and Global HS Holding, “while he was also director of the company Groupe Néo Habitation inc.”

Jet, luxury and weapons

Julien Bournival-Vaugeois is not at his first escapades. In 2018, the Court of Quebec forced, among other things, the entrepreneur to cancel a $12,000 contract with a Quebec woman from Trois-Rivières.

The latter had bought him a “wall-mounted aerothermal recuperator”, similar to a heat pump. She had to go before a judge to cancel the said contract with the traveling salesman.

The influencer now has several peddlers working for him. The recruitment of his sellers is mainly done through social networks, where he appears seated on the steps of a private jet, cigar on his lips or even with powerful weapons in his hands.

“The good news is you can be stupid, just like me, go to eight different high schools, and you can build a successful company,” he says in one of his many videos promoting his services on Instagram.
