According to Agence France-Presse, “Ukraine has four power stations [nucléaires] in operation, which provide about half of the electricity, and several repositories of radioactive waste, including that of Chernobyl, site of the worst nuclear disaster in history in 1986”. If they stop working, these power stations, it will be the blackout for much of Ukraine. This will certainly favor the imperial cause of the master of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin.
For Europe, in my opinion, there should be a nuclear red line that should not be crossed. Russia should be officially warned that if it destroys a nuclear power station, even unintentionally, after playing with fire, European soldiers will take part in the fight alongside the Ukrainians.
Because, if a nuclear power plant is gutted in Ukraine, it is not only this country that will suffer, but also probably neighboring countries, as radioactive emissions do not need a passport to cross borders.
