On November 29, 2021, the columnist had shared his battle against the disease via his Instagram account. He posted a picture of himself from his hospital bed and wrote in the comments: “Exhausted, exhausted, anxious, panicked, but it’s finally done. In about two weeks, I’ll finally know what’s eating away at me, what I’m fighting against, this enemy that’s rotting me from within.
