Absent for medical reasons for eight days, Dominique Pelicot should be present at his trial on Tuesday, September 17.

Pending a medical examination, the hearing was suspended until Tuesday. “If this expert report concluded that this trial cannot continue due to a delay in the care of Dominique Pelicot, we would truly be in a situation (…) of scandal”said Mr. Stéphane Babonneau, lawyer for the civil party. In the evening, Dominique Pelicot’s lawyer announced that the expert report concluded that he was fit to appear on Tuesday.
