“I remain leader of the Liberal Party,” she replies to Sophie Thibault, who asks her, in an interview with TVA Nouvelles, if she intends to remain in office, regardless of the result of the election.
Mme Anglade also adds that she “thinks there will be some nice surprises on October 3”.
face the music
The leader of the PLQ confirms that the road to victory is strewn with challenges for her and her party.
“I didn’t come here thinking it was going to be easy. […]. On the contrary, you face the music with the issues that are before you,” she said in an interview with TVA Nouvelles.
One of these challenges, according to her, is moreover “to bring the party of 21e century”.
“With a renewal of people who have never been liberals who say, ‘OK, I’m getting into this’ and people who have been liberals all their lives who have to recognize themselves in this. No, it’s not easy on a daily basis, but it’s exciting,” she says.
