On March 11, 2021, Mrs. Sylvie Giard’s dog, named Maya, disappeared while passing from the fence of the house, in the Beloeil region.
Automatically, the owners Mrs. Sylvie Giard and her husband contact an organization that takes care of finding lost dogs throughout the province. They transmit all possible information about Maya, such as her photos and dental records.
Despite the searches, the dog remains untraceable, a situation that displeases Ms. Giard “as if Maya had completely evaporated, we were without any news, any trace or track” she adds.
Spectacular turn of events
On January 5, Laurianne sends them a photo taken from the animal organization Proanima, an organization whose mission is to find lost dogs. It displayed a photo of a dog found as a stray dog.
Good news, especially since the couple had lost hope: “To our amazement, the officials contacted us almost immediately, to invite us to move, because there was a good chance that it was her” , says Ms. Giard.
As soon as she got home, Maya was back to her habits and her favorite chair. A situation that delights Ms. Giard.
