According to our colleagues at Variety, Daniel Radcliffe wanted to produce a intimate and moving documentary to pay tribute to David Holmes. Present in front of the camera, the most famous wizard of Hogwarts will discuss in detail the tragic fall of the actor who occurred during a stunt, and will also highlight the work of the shadow of her understudy, who accompanied her for almost 11 years. Indeed, a true friendship was built over the years between the actor and his paraplegic lining since the age of 25. But what particularly touches Daniel Radcliffe in this story is the incredible resilience which David demonstrates on a daily basis. Supported by the 34-year-old actor, his closest stunt colleagues and those close to him, David Holmes is the living example that you can survive anything, even the worst.
Did you know ? Since 2020, David Holmes has campaigned for stunt performers to get their own prize at the Oscars. He also created the podcast Cunning stunts in order to raise public awareness by demystifying the profession of stuntman.
