They want to run Montreal, but how well do they know the metropolis? Press asked the top three mayoral candidates to participate in a Montreal trivia game. Denis Coderre (Ensemble Montréal) and Balarama Holness (Mouvement Montréal) accepted, while Valérie Plante (Projet Montréal) declined our invitation. Since 2013, this is the first time that a candidate for mayor has refused to participate in our quiz. It’s your turn to test your knowledge of Montreal and compare it to that of two mayoral candidates.
But be careful: you will answer the same questions as the mayoral candidates, except that you will have choices of answers when they did not have any. Denis Coderre and Balarama Holness had to give their answer without having any clues, which made their challenge much more difficult (unlike you, they still aspire to become mayor of Montreal!). For quantified questions, they were given a correct answer if their answer was within a margin of error determined by Press in advance with each question.
