Etienne Delorme of the Festival Ludique International de Parthenay remembers that he learned to play Kahuna twenty years ago and since
this game is still valid during the festival.
Kahuna is a board representing an archipelago. The two players face each other and with a maximum of five cards in hand, they will go until the draw pile is exhausted. This will be the end of the first round and there will be three in all.
To be able to claim one of the islands, you will have to drop bridges and have at least three of them. From three bridges you can remove those placed by the opponent on this island. Be careful, this can modify the predominance on the neighboring island and so on…
There are many reversals of situation and nothing is ever won, until the last card!
We play Kahuna from 10 years old, a game lasts between half an hour and an hour.
Kahuna to enjoy for two, while waiting for the FLIP from July 13 to 24, 2022.
