CF Montreal announced Monday night that midfielder Djordje Mihailovic will be out for a short period with an ankle injury.

The American was injured in Saturday’s game at Stade Saputo against Cincinnati. The club’s leading scorer will therefore not be able to join the United States selection camp during the international break.
The CFMTL also announced that Mihailovic will be absent in the short term, without however indicating the exact duration of his absence.
In 14 games since the start of the season, the 23-year-old has collected seven goals and four assists.
