Historic day for Novak Djokovic: the Serb became, at 36, the first man to win 23 Grand Slam titles thanks to his victory at Roland-Garros at the expense of world No.4 Casper Ruud 7-6 (7/1) , 6-3, 7-5 Sunday.
Djokovic had joined Rafael Nadal at 22 major titles in January after his crowning at the Australian Open. In addition to this historic achievement, he will reinstall in place of world No.1 on Monday at the expense of the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. It will begin a record 388th week there.
