A dream bonus for academicians. Saturday January 6, 2024, Djebril, Pierre, Axel, Julien, Lénie and Héléna had carte blanche to organize the bonus as they saw fit. Choice of duets, guests, pieces: the six academicians were the orchestra masters of the evening!
An unforgettable bonus at the end of which, unfortunately it was Djebril who ended up leaving the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys. Appointed for the fifth time, the young man actually ended up giving up his arms at the end of a bonus during which, ironically, thehe young singer received the favorites of several members of the teaching staff including Michael Goldman, Adeline Toniutti and Malika Benjelloun.
And for good reason, during the evening, Djebril delivered two superb performances singing Carmen of Stromae and Kid in duet with Eddy de Pretto. Two interpretations which unfortunately were not enough to make a difference.

Djebril’s no-nonsense confidences

this Tuesday, January 9, 2024, Djebril spoke about the exercise that he found the most difficult during his adventure, namely the preparation of bonuses: “It was very difficult to be competent because we had to learn a lot of songs quickly and in a very short time. We also had very few rehearsals. As I like to be 100% ready, I sometimes had the feeling of “being thrown into the lion’s den a bit. Even if it was a bit of an obstacle course, it was very educational”he confided.
More honest than ever, during this exchange, the young man also felt that he had not always deserved to be among the nominees of the week. “There is an aspect that is very subjective in music. Despite everything, there are nominations that I understood less, where for me, I did not deserve to be nominated”, did he declare. A transparency that honors him.
