There is no longer any doubt: Marc Lavoine and Line Papin have indeed divorced. The two exes, who had united a year and a half ago in the city of Paris, had been giving some clues in this direction for some time. While Le Figarowho had the right to an interview with the young novelist, on April 25, revealed this divorce, entrusted by the main interested party, this April 29, it is the magazine Audience who returns to this rupture. The 26-year-old author, who lived in the 5th arrondissement with her husband, left the premises in the spring of 2021 and is now promoting her new novel, published by Stock, since her “bachelor’s accommodation“.
On March 2, 2022, Line Papin unveiled to the public a novel entitled A possible lifee, which strangely resembles what she has been able to experience recently. The heroine, named Line, recounts the events at the origin of her breakup: a miscarriage that she suffered during the first confinement, while she was expecting twins, then the abortion that she had to go through a few months later, she who did not feel ready to relive a pregnancy so soon.
A woman, in a room, alone, without children
“A century earlier, I would have been an original: a woman, in a room, alone, without children, a woman who writes“, she writes in her book, as noted by the newspaper Le Figaro – who announced the divorce. It is her brother, and not her husband, who would have accompanied her to the clinic, at least in the story. After all, the announcement of this rupture is not really a surprise. A little earlier, in April 2022, Line Papin spoke of the couple problems which gradually distanced him from Marc Lavoine. “It obviously wasn’t easy but life had made waves around usshe explained to Evening Mag. I could no longer find my place, it was impossible for me to offer one to this child. We made women so guilty, we also punished them so much for this act as if they were doing it deliberately out of spite. We abort above all by responsibility, rarely by will. To make this choice is to pay attention to life!“
