Dispute between Natasha St-Pier and Inès Reg | “We say hello and smile at each other”

The argument that has fascinated the French for a month is said to be over: French comedian Inès Reg says she is “at peace” with Acadian singer Natasha St-Pier.

“There was a mini altercation. And now, we see each other in the corridors, we say hello and we smile at each other,” said Inès Reg on Wednesday during a radio interview on Europe 1.

March 21th, The Parisian revealed the existence of a major dispute between Inès Reg and Natasha St-Pier, two participants in the show Dance with the stars, broadcast on TF1. At the end of January, during rehearsals, Natasha St-Pier called Inès Reg a “little slut”. A bad joke, according to the singer; a hurtful insult, according to Inès Reg. Because she felt “threatened”, Natasha St-Pier filed a handrail, a procedure which allows the facts to be reported to the police.

Host Jean-Pierre Foucault, who received Inès Reg to talk about the broadcast of her show on Prime Video, asked her if she feared that the controversy would harm her career or the climate on the set of the show. “It touched me, it scared and affected me, but more in relation to the words that were used, but today I am at peace, everything is going very well. Disputes between colleagues happen all the time,” replied Inès Reg, according to whom Natasha St-Pier is also “calmed down.” “That’s it, it’s all over.”

Both women are in contention for the semi-final of Dance with the starswhich will take place on April 19.
