Disney+ unveils Miss Marvel trailer





Disney+ unveiled the poster and trailer for Miss Marvela new series that will be available from June 8 on the streaming service.

In this six-episode miniseries, the Marvel Universe’s newest superhero, Kamala Khan, juggles her student life, her family, and her emerging superpowers.

The teenager, a Muslim American, is an avid gamer of fanafiction and a fan of superheroes like Captain Marvel. Young Kamala Khan, however, feels invisible at home and at school. Her life changes when she obtains extraordinary powers like those of the heroes she has always admired.

It is Iman Vellani, 19, who interprets Kamala Khan alias Miss Marvel. The cast also includes Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz and Yasmeen Fletcher.

The episodes are directed by El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Bisha K. Ali serve as executive producers.
