In the 1990s, the singer Indra became a real phenomenon in France and Europe thanks to her catchy hits. Thirty after finding fame, the Swedish star prefers to stay away from the cameras and the crowd, she who has seen her appearance change drastically.
This Friday, July 15, the singer, now 54 years old, had opened the doors of her privacy to the cameras of the TFX channel and participated in the program “What have they become?”. Followed during an appointment with the osteopath, Indra explained how she was disfigured: “It started with a Botox injection, in 2006, so it dates back. The Botox is starting to take effect. I remember , I had two explosions behind the neck. Like something that farted, everything that had let go. I felt my head going down” she recalled.
“I felt the face go empty”
“I was stuck down. I even started to have a dislocation of the jaw so much it pulled down”, she then explained in front of the osteopath before telling him about the pain she suffers daily for more than fifteen years, all accompanied by sketches made by herself. Because of this failed surgery, the singer now always looks “bloated”: “I often get told, ‘Why are you bloated? Do you give injections?’ No, it’s the edema, it’s the weight”, replies the singer.
Treated with cortisone by a doctor, she then had to deal with even more devastating side effects: I was with my son in the park and all of a sudden it let go. It was like rubber bands going backwards, as if we had let go. And then the nose, there was water flowing. Liters. I felt the face go empty,” she said.
If the singer hopes that her osteopath will be able to help her improve her condition, she is aware that she will never be able to go back to how she was before: “Even for the articulation, I sometimes have trouble. I don’t know if a day I’ll get there. Living like that, it’s not easy” she sadly concluded.
