Its first two seasons will be offered on TV5 Monde Plus, a free French-language video-on-demand platform. From May, the comedy will be relayed in 117 territories in Africa, Asia, the Maghreb, the Middle East and Latin America, due to an agreement between TV5 and A Média, the production directed by Guillaume Lespérance. The list of countries included in the agreement includes Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, Brazil and South Africa.

The first two seasons of Discussions with my parents were written by François Morency in collaboration with Pierre Prince. Pascal L’Heureux signed the realization. The series stars the comedian in his own role, as well as Vincent Bilodeau (Jean-Pierre), Marie-Ginette Guay (Rollande), Blaise Tardif (Raynald) and Caroline Bouchard (Judith).

Broadcast last fall, its fourth season attracted 1.4 million viewers each week. Its fifth season is expected in September on ICI Télé.
