The 20 Hours of Sunday March 5 takes you to Vietnam to discover a spectacular glass walkway that has been installed above a lush jungle. A pleasure that can be shared on digital.
Over a river in Moc Chau (Vietnam), suspended 150 meters high, is a transparent bridge, the longest in the world. “The White Dragon” is 632 meters long and listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. It is the country’s newest tourist attraction that delights tourists suspended above the void. For others, it is a feeling of fear. “I can’t look down, I’d rather hang on”says a woman.
2,000 visitors per day
“It feels like walking above the void, it really makes me want to fly away”, enthuses a man. The Vietnamese have dethroned the Chinese, previous holders of the record for the longest bridge. “It’s so big, we’re so proud of this bridge,” said a Vietnamese woman. It took a year to erect the steel and glass structure, a private investment of 30 million euros. Today, the bridge attracts 2,000 visitors a day to a remote region in the northwest of the country.
