Let’s not forget that Périgueux is surrounded by greenery, the banks are refreshing, they are shaded and perfect for a nature walk with family or friends.

Two original visits to do in Périgueux

We also suggest that you go out at the level of the very beautiful Vesone Park, to visit The Vesunna Museum. It is an old Domus (a villa) gallo-roman protected by a splendid glass structure, designed by the architect of Lot-et-Garonnaise origin, internationally recognized: Jean Nouvel. Bright, radiant, it is spacious and impressive!

Children love Vesunna which immerses them in an attractive universe. The visit is punctuated with comments and discoveries about them, adapted to their age. Parents will not be left out, museography is ingenious and highlights the remains of this incredible Domus, in the heart of the city!
