A family has been living in a tent since the terrible night when the earth shook. “We made this tent with tarps. For a month now we’ve been sleeping here“, explains a woman. The roof of the building of this family collapsed that night.

6,000 Syrians were killed in the earthquake. “The war knocked us down, but the earthquake finished us off, we no longer have a life, we were no longer able to live“, deplores a man. In this region of northwestern Syria, ravaged by war, humanitarian aid arrives in dribs and drabs. At night, the temperatures are freezing. The children are traumatized and sleep badly.
