Discover the Ultimate Pool Cleaning Robot That Comes with Extra Features

Pool cleaning robots have evolved significantly, especially with the introduction of cordless models powered by advanced lithium batteries. Aiper’s Scuba X1 Pro Max stands out with its OmniSense+ 2.0 technology, nine motors, and unmatched suction power, cleaning up to 32,000 liters per hour. This robot adapts to unique pool shapes, features smart suction adjustments, and collects debris effectively. Launching in February 2025 at €2,299, it reflects Aiper’s innovative leadership in the pool cleaning industry.

For many years, pool cleaning robots were limited to performing basic tasks such as scrubbing the bottom, walls, and waterline of pools. The market was dominated by a handful of established companies, resulting in a rather mundane industry. However, the arrival of new competitors, particularly from China, has sparked significant innovation in recent times.

The latest breakthrough in pool cleaning technology is the transition from corded to cordless robots, made possible by advancements in lightweight and compact lithium batteries. Aiper, a pioneering Chinese manufacturer, was among the first to introduce this innovative product line and is showcasing its latest creations at CES 2025 in Las Vegas.

The Ultimate Pool Cleaning Robot

Introducing the Scuba X1 Pro Max, the most powerful pool cleaning robot available, which builds upon the features of the Scuba S1 Pro. It is also available in more budget-friendly options, the X1 Pro and X1. Here’s a closer look at the standout features of the X1 Pro Max.

Aiper has introduced cutting-edge technology known as OmniSense+ 2.0, which employs 40 sensors to map the pool in real-time. According to Aiper, this advanced system ensures comprehensive cleaning across all pool surfaces.

This impressive device is equipped with nine motors and boasts the title of the robot with the highest suction power in the world, capable of vacuuming up to 32,000 liters of water every hour. Incredible, isn’t it?

Smart Cleaning Technology

The Scuba X1 Pro Max features intelligent technology, including FlexiPath 2.0, which enables the robot to “smartly adjust its trajectory for the best cleaning results.” This capability allows it to effectively clean pools with unique shapes, such as rounded designs.

With its automatic mode, the robot can modify its suction power based on the debris levels, optimizing battery life, which lasts up to 10 hours for surface cleaning and 5 hours for deep cleaning. This impressive autonomy makes it ideal for multiple cleaning cycles in standard-sized pools. Additionally, it offers two filtration levels, at 180 µm and 3 µm, respectively.

Notably, the Scuba X1 Pro Max goes beyond just cleaning the bottom, walls, and waterline; it also features surface cleaning capabilities, functioning like a skimmer to collect leaves that fall into the pool. The manufacturer claims it can remove up to 146 leaves per hour, significantly outpacing competitors that manage only 80 leaves.

Aiper has also introduced the HydroComm accessory, now available in a Pro version. This water analysis station monitors various pool parameters (pH, temperature, ORP, ERP, TDS) to help determine the necessary treatment regimen, whether chlorine, salt, or bromine.

Lastly, the HomeComingDock feature allows users to command the robot to surface via a mobile app, making retrieval from the pool edge a breeze. Simply place it on its docking station to recharge the battery.

Pricing and Availability

The Scuba X1 Pro Max is set to launch in February 2025 at a price point of 2,299 euros. The Pro and standard versions will be available at more economical rates, though their prices have yet to be revealed.

The HydroComm Pro will retail for approximately 380 euros, with an expected release in March 2025. It’s worth noting that Aiper successfully sold over a million pool robots globally in 2024, establishing its reputation as a key player in the industry.

We look forward to putting this remarkable pool cleaning robot to the test to evaluate its real-world performance.
