discover the timetables for the 8th stage between Dole and Lausanne

For the 8th stage of the Tour de France 2022, Saturday July 9, after arriving at La Planche-des-Belles-Filles, the peloton set off from Dole, for the fourth time in its history, towards Lausanne in Switzerland. This Jura stage will be an appetizer before the alpine sequence of the Tour.

On Friday, the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE), wearing the yellow jersey, won the 7th stage at the top of the Super Planche des Belles Filles in the Vosges mountains. Second consecutive victory for Pogacar who overtook, in the last meters of the climb, the Dane Jonas Vingegaard in the first arrival at the top of the race. Two years ago, the Slovenian had already overturned the Tour in his favor in a memorable time trial in the resort of Haute-Saône, which will host the conclusion of the Tour de France Women on July 31.

Local of the stage, the Franc-Comtois Thibaut Pinot (Groupama-FDJ) crossed the line in 31st position, almost two and a half minutes from Tadej Pogacar. “I am inevitably disappointed because we always hope for better. But I knew I wasn’t 100 percent. I will need a few more days”he commented on arrival. “The atmosphere, as always, is magical. They (the public) were up to it, not me, and that’s a shame”, he added.
