A decade already that a group of passionate volunteers animates the wine region of southern Aisne around a festive event for the general public. Called Champagne et Vous!, this wine tourism festival promotes the identity of the Axos area and inspires other regions.
Do you want to meet Champagne winegrowers for a weekend in Marne Valley ? Do you want to know more about viticulture, its role and its regional but also international impact? A group of passionate volunteers set up a festival dedicated to this subject a decade ago. and Champagne and You! was born…
The Association of Ambassadors of Terroir and Tourism in the Marne Valley is co-chaired by two winegrowers, namely Olivier Belin and Marie-Jo Pierron. They are keen to promote the terroir and good viticultural practices in Champagne-Ardenne and Picardy.
Tourism professionals, winegrowers, farmers, restaurateurs, local authorities unite and invest since already a decade to offer each time an even more ambitious and successful edition than the previous one. The 2022 edition is already shaping up to be that of renewal and beauty!
A colorful festival
This year again, the program will be busy and varied for all : meeting and exchanges with the twenty or so winegrowers present, tasting of champagnes and dishes such as oysters, honey, nougat or goat cheese. The list of partner restaurants is available on the official festival website, as are all the planned festivities.
A champagne cocktail bar and a champagne bar will also be there.
Of the entertainment will also be planned throughout the weekendwith in particular workshops on vine trades, an oenological laboratory, an exhibition with a discovery of the Marne Valley in virtual reality, a free expression workshop with make-up, a caricaturist, a selfie terminal…
Of course, the town of Château-Thierry will not be outdone, since a discovery of its treasures – including the castle and the Jean de la Fontaine museum – is planned during the festival.
Other surprises are also planned, but for the moment, they remain secret!
The saturday evening will be animated by a DJ and food-trucks as well as champagne and cocktail bars will keep you going until the end of the night, in moderation of course! Champagne et Vous! is really a festival designed for the public, that is to say you!
