Discover the new album of the Alsaco-funny rock group Schnapps “Made, in Elsass”

The range of the group widens further alternating rock’n’roll, blues, and punk rock!

This album “Made in Elsass” has no less than 13 original and unpublished songs, in an impeccable realization. The texts in Alsatian are small onions. The group digs the veins of the first album, with lyrics imbued with humor and irony, it sometimes becomes a little more gritty and releases a few jubilant bursts.

In this album, Schnapps also affirms his attachment to Alsace

With, among other things, the opening track “Made ìn Elsass” which is a real postcard of the region and the final track, a very free adaptation of the classic “Elsasslìed”.

Moreover, Schnapps sings to us about Northern Alsace, the ramparts of Wissembourg and Strasbourg… an album rooted in his region and in his time with pieces that hit the mark.

The icing on the cake, as for the first album, Schnapps called on guests. Marcel Loeffler thus spins his accordion in a muscular adaptation of the Alsatian classic: Elsasslìed, Vincent Bidal joins the group on the slow rock “Dü bìsch wie Konfitür”, Serge Rieger wrote the sympathetically mocking text of “Ich brüch e Misenplis” and Les Thirsty give voice to “Gìb Gùmmi”.
