David Guetta, Lenny Kravitz, Bigflo & Oli, Kaaris, Sum 41, The Pretenders and Black Pumas will be on the Eurockéennes de Belfort stage next summer, announce the organizers of the festival, the next edition of which is scheduled from Thursday 4 to Sunday 7 July 2024.”2023 was the year of the comeback in a big way. 2024 will be an even bigger edition“, promises Matthieu Pigasse, president of the Belfortain festival which brought together 125,000 spectators this year. “We wanted this programming to be as eclectic as possible“, adds Jean-Paul Roland, the director of Eurocks.
David Guetta exclusively
David Guetta will thus be the headliner of the festival and of the Sunday day, now dedicated to a single artist. After Daft Punk in 1996 and 2006, and DJ Snake in 2017, the Parisian will complete the list of electro stars who have passed through Belfort. “This will be its only French festival this year“, underlines programmer Kem Lalot.
Among the 24 artist names revealed (out of 60 in total), we also note on the rock side the Canadians of Sum 41, who will play on Saturday July 6 for their first appearance at the Eurockéennes, as well as The Pretenders and The Breeders. Lenny Kravitz, who is releasing a new album soon, will make his return to the Malsaucy peninsula, 25 years after his first visit.
The Black Pumas should finally ward off their bad luck
As for the American duo Black Pumas, who were unable to play there in 2020, 2021 and 2022, they should finally perform in front of the Belfort public. Their concerts had each time been canceled, due to Covid-19 the first two years, and the violent storm which welcomed festival-goers in 2022 and forced the cancellation of two days of shows. “This time it’s the right one“, promised the organizers. The rap scene will not be left out with Kaaris, Bigflo & Oli, Gazo, or the Belgian artist Shay, the subject of a “huge wait“, according to programmer Kem Lalot.
The full lineup, which is expected to include a few other big names, won’t be announced until February. However, tickets are on sale from Friday December 15 at 1:00 p.m.
