Exploring the Emergency Browser: Tor

You’ve likely heard about the Tor browser, which is designed to leave minimal digital footprints. Its creators boldly declare, “You have the right to search without being tracked.”

But how safe is it to use this browser? How does it compare to VPN services that also mask your IP address? What’s the process for accessing the dark web, and is it legal? These are the questions we’ll address in our comprehensive review of the Tor browser.

Ad Blockers: The Best Option for You

Many media outlets rely on advertising for funding, and we’re no different. As you know, all our content is available for everyone to access freely. If you find the numerous ads bothersome, you can easily disable them with an ad blocker.

Ad blockers come in both traditional software forms and as browser extensions. Are there differences in their effectiveness? We’ll explore this for you, and also tackle the question: Are ad blockers even legal?

Enhancing Your Google Chrome Experience: Part 2

In our previous edition of Hallo Netzwelt, we shared some helpful tips for optimizing your Chrome experience, and it was well-received! This week, we’re back with even more practical enhancement suggestions for Google’s browser.

Speedy Review: The Fiido C11 Pro E-Bike

Although summer feels a world away, we’ve received the latest e-bike from Fiido, the C11 Pro, to test out. They’re eager to hear our thoughts—how fast does it really go?

First and foremost, for the price of €1,099, you get an impressive e-bike. This e-city bike is surprisingly well-constructed, a point we’ve previously critiqued the manufacturer for.

While it resembles a standard pedelec, it’s technically classified as an S-pedelec. However, given that the Fiido C11 Pro comes with a thumb throttle, you can choose not to pedal at all. Just press a button, and you’re off to a swift start, reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h. Our review uncovers all the details.

This Week’s Highlights

Exciting New Gadget: The E-Wheelbarrow

Tech enthusiasts, rejoice! The e-wheelbarrow has finally arrived! More accurately, a new gadget has been introduced that allows you to electrify your existing wheelbarrow.

Similar to the concept of converting a bicycle into an e-bike, you can replace your wheelbarrow’s front wheel with a motorized one. This conversion kit will empower your wheelbarrow, making it easy to transport heavy materials around your garden—just in time for Father’s Day!

The Laugh of the Week

As we prepare for the bustling bargain days ahead, we want to ensure you leave with a smile. Here’s the joke of the week: Stay curious, engaging, and globally minded as we foster understanding among cultures. And with that, may you find great karma and cash for those Black Friday deals.
