Discover Léna Maire, a high school student from Saint-Etienne who is embarking on the adventure The Voice

Will she succeed in turning the jury of The Voice? Léna Maire, a young high school student from Saint-Etienne embarks on the adventure of one of TF1’s flagship programs, The Voice, this Saturday evening (9:10 p.m.). For this new edition, the four coaches from last year have returned: Florent Pagny, Amel Bent, Vianney and Marc Lavoine. A first since season 2.

Music, a family story

In the Maire family, music is a story of filiation. First with the father who has very particular tastes. “My father is an amateur guitarist explains Lena. He is a fan of hard rock and death metal. Me, I listen more to soul, jazz and R’n’B. These styles are those of the mother but very early Léna found her own voice with piano lessons from the age of seven at the conservatory of Andrézieux-Bouthéon then singing and guitar lessons until a turning point in 2019 when Léna won Talent from the banks of the Loire.

This is one of the elements that made me want to make music my job. explains Lena. My goal is to make scenes and perform. But I intend to continue my studies at the conservatory and to have as many diplomas as possible.

It was the production of The Voice who contacted him

The young singer, equally at ease with a piano or a guitar, is familiar with the show The Voice, but it was not her who applied. The production of the TF1 show contacted her directly: “I hesitated a bit and then I ended up accepting because it’s an experience to live“.

Léna dreams of performing one day on the thread scene in Saint-Etienne.
