While Spanish media report that Nasser al-Khelaïfi and Leonardo would have tried to enter, furious, in the locker room of the referees at the end of Real Madrid-PSG, the president and the sports director of Paris are the subject of a procedure disciplinary action initiated by UEFA.

After the defeat, and the elimination of PSG, in the Champions League, Leonardo had reacted to the microphone of Canal +, regretting that a fault had not been whistled on the action leading to the first goal, after contact between Karim Benzema and Gianluigi Donnarumma: This is not to apologize for refereeing decisions, but it was difficult for us. We lost control a bit, it was decisive at that moment.

A diplomat at the microphone, the sports director seems to have been a little less diplomatic behind the scenes, just like Nasserl-Khelaïfi. A scene filmed by Real Madrid media, who were shooting a video in the corridors of the Bernabeu stadium after the match. This video could also be exploited by UEFA, against the Parisian leaders, as provided for in article 44 of the body’s disciplinary regulations: “In the context of the disciplinary investigation and proceedings, valid evidence includes official reports and documents, testimonies, hearings of the parties and ethics and discipline inspectors, on-site inspections, expert opinions, TV and video recordings, confessions and any other recordings or documents.”

The official reports of the referees and the delegate could also help UEFA to decide. Nasser al-Khelaïfi and Leonardo could therefore be sanctioned for having had a “incorrect behavior” and not respecting the “general principles of conduct”. They risk suspensions or fines.
