Norodom Ravichak is accused of lying about his financial capacities, while he was a serious candidate for the club’s buyout. I never issued this document

ASSE leaders accuse Norodom Ravichak of having provided a false letter of bank guarantee for a sum of 100 million euros. “I never issued this document,” answers the Cambodian prince. Faced with the complaint of the leaders of the club, the Cambodian prince announced to reserve the right to take legal action.

Before this complaint, Norodom Ravichak had already been the subject of criticism, for not having respected the confidentiality clause that bound him to the club after his buyout offer. Prince’s response: “In view of my status as official ambassador to His Majesty, I was asked to clarify things. Because it caused a lot of noise in my country that people say that I am the crown prince, which is not not the case despite my royal blood […]” On the origin of the fortune with which he wanted to buy AS Saint-Étienne, Norodom Ravichak assures that it was about Chinese funds, and not from the fortune of his uncle the King of Cambodia.
