Little Emile, who has been missing for a week, is still nowhere to be found, Saturday July 15. Since then, research has multiplied, but investigators are struggling to move forward, for lack of clues.
The barrier has not moved for five days. The Upper Vernet (Alpes de Haute Provence) is a hamlet still forbidden, isolated and folded in on itself. The atmosphere is heavy for all the inhabitants of the commune. “We feel that there is a real emotion”underlines a local resident. “We don’t understand what happened (…) everyone imagines it’s something outside”details a resident. However, great resources were deployed for a week with citizen beats, or sweeps by the gendarmes.
Work around telephone antennas
Investigators are now engaged in painstaking work, especially around telephone antennas. They will study all the communications that bounded the only antenna in the village, but also on six other pylons. Everything will be combed through, to see if some testimonials are inconsistent. A new mass was given in homage to little Emile, Saturday July 15.
