“What is particular is that this is urban research rather than in the forest. You must make sure to check backyards, outbuildings, containers and trash cans,” explains Marie Cauchon, regional coordinator of the AQBRS.
Called for reinforcements by the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ), a dozen members of the organization were busy searching the area around the Saint-Charles River and the Gare du Palais on Tuesday.

A command post was also set up for a second consecutive day near the Dorchester parking lot in the hope of collecting testimonies allowing Jessy Duchesneau to be found.
“We remain confident that we will find even one clue. It could make all the difference,” underlines Mme Cauchon, whose group is in its 14the search of the year.
A growing perimeter
Remember that the 19-year-old young man from Paspébiac has been missing since the night of Friday to Saturday, when he was leaving a bar on rue Saint-Joseph.
The search perimeter, first established around 300 meters around the Midnight Blue bar in Saint-Roch, was widened to 500 meters, according to Arianne Duchesneau, the cousin of the missing man.

“But beyond that, we don’t have much more progress at the moment,” she laments.
Coming down from Gaspésie to lend a hand, those close to Jessy Duchesneau spent the day distributing her photo and showing her face in different businesses on rue Saint-Vallier.
“It’s important that we continue to talk about it so that as many people as possible are aware of the situation. We want them to keep their eyes open,” emphasizes M.me Duchesneau.
” To stay positive “
For its part, the SPVQ is stingy with comments in this matter for the moment, indicating that there were no notable developments at the moment.
With no news from him for four days, his family is worried, even though the young man was simply supposed to spend the weekend with friends in Quebec.
“We never think that this could happen to us… All we can do is try to stay positive and focus on the research,” sighs her cousin.
Jessy Duchesneau’s relatives, including his father, traveled around Saint-Roch on Tuesday to show the young man’s face in the shops.
