Disappearance of Delphine Jubillar: Was Cédric helped by an accomplice? New accusation….

Since June 2021, Cédric Jubillar has been in pre-trial detention for spousal homicide at Seysses prison near Toulouse in Haute-Garonne. Delphine’s husband was imprisoned because of the serious suspicions of justice about his role in the disappearance of the nurse from Cagnac-les-Mines, whose body has not been found since that night from December 15 to 16, 2020. From his cell and through his lawyers, the 34-year-old painter and plasterer proclaims his innocence. Maître Laurent Boguet, the lawyer for the children of the couple Jubillar, Louis and Elyah, spoke about the progress of the investigation with France 3 Occitanie, underlining the complex and controversial personality of the suspect number 1 and evoking the possibility of partner in crime.

On the evening of the tragedy, according to Cédric Jubillar, his wife would have gone out after watching television with her eldest son to walk the dogs, around 11 p.m. Since then, no news: she had not taken her mobile phone, nor her coat while the scene takes place at the dawn of winter. At 4 a.m., the craftsman contacted the police, woken up by his daughter crying to retrieve her pacifier and discovering that his wife was no longer at home. In a few hours, everything changed and the investigators are trying to understand the rapid sequence of events during that night. If the victim’s husband – with whom she was in divorce proceedings hoping to rebuild her life with her new companion – is considered the culprit, Maître Boguet does not disqualify the idea of the help of an accomplice: “It’s entirely possible. If it is him, he is called upon to act within a tight time frame. The complicity of someone who would bring him a means of transport can be considered.

On May 12, Cédric Jubillar will again be confronted with various people related to the couple. “First of all he can be confronted with his own mother. I believe that was considered as part of the investigation. More certainly, he risks being confronted with the fellow prisoner who indicates having received confidences from him“, explains the lawyer. For him, the priority is to provide answers to the relatives of Delphine born Aussaguel and in priority to her young children. In December 2021, he had declared, already at the microphone of France 3: “Louis was told, ‘You know, your mum hasn’t abandoned you and your little sister.’ And he received the message without finding the words but in the look he returned these sentences were perceived as a blessing. He probably needed to hear them and besides, he let go in a breath: ‘It did me good to talk.'”

Cédric Jubillar remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until the final judgment of this case.
