Disappearance of Delphine Jubillar: The new technical expertise that overwhelms Cédric

Many testimonies make an aggressive or even dangerous portrait of Cédric Jubillar, currently in pre-trial detention for spousal homicide. However, the investigation into the disappearance of his wife Delphine on the night of December 15 to 16, 2022 lacked material evidence. No body has been found since that winter, nor any crime scene. The magistrates in charge of the investigation, however, recently obtained analyzes which go in the direction of a moment of violence during this night during which no one had any news of the nurse from Cagnac-les-Mines: the technical expertise of the victim’s glasses.

The Parisian obtained details of the analyzes of Delphine Jubillar’s glasses which prove thatan external force broke the mount. “The examinations and tests carried out lead to the conclusion that the damage observed on Delphine Jubillar’s pair of glasses is the consequence of dynamic forces (…) The forces were applied from the outside to the inside“, write the experts of the DGA (General Directorate of Armament). For his part, her husband had claimed to the gendarmes that this pair was already very old and worn.

Formal material proof that a force broke the glasses of the thirty-year-old mother of two children. Combined with the fact that the couple’s son, Louis, heard his parents arguing on the last evening that Delphine Jubillar was seen alive, this proves that he certainly also had, beyond shouts and words, physical violence. For Master Mourad Battikh, lawyer for the nurse’s relatives, this confirms the prosecution’s thesis: “Contrary to her denials, we are now sure, thanks to this expertise, that a violent dispute broke out in the family home on the evening of Delphine’s disappearance. Cédric Jubillar will have to explain himself. The headlong rush comes to an end for him. It’s time he says where he hid the body so the family can mourn properly.

For the lawyer, a motive has emerged, after more than fifteen months of research: the painter-plasterer, angry and humiliating, could not bear to see his wife want to leave him and start a new life with another. According to the lawyer, the alleged culprit would therefore have committed the irreparable, not knowing how to rebuild his family life. The psychiatric report which has also just been added to the court file is part of this theory.

Cédric Jubillar remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until the final judgment of this case.
