A call for witnesses is launched in Niort after the disappearance of a 7-year-old boy in the Tour Chabot district. Little Marciano, a child from Guyana, was last seen on Sunday afternoon while playing at the foot of the building where his family lives.

The little boy suffers from autism spectrum disorder and speaks little, he expresses himself mainly through gestures. When he disappeared, he was dressed in football gear, shorts, jersey and sneakers. He had his soccer ball with him.

According to the police, a resident who was walking her dog between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. saw the little boy at the foot of a tower, she asked him if he lived there, he nodded. She then asked on which floor and the little boy replied with gestures that she did not understand, she decided to go up and then turned around and the child was no longer there.

The police called on their fellow gendarmes from the Parthenay canine brigade, but the dog has found nothing at the time of this writing. The mother of the child, who was on the move, has returned to Niort and will be heard by the police, new searches will be launched with the dogs.

Update 5:30 p.m. : according to the permanence of the parquet floor of Niort, the child would have been seen in the district of Clou-Bouchet a district a little distant from that of the Tour-Chabot. The police go there to go door to door and investigate to try to verify this testimony.
